Join Society President, Desley Garnett , and other committee members for a special evening event.
Held monthly on the Thursday of the week following the newsletter mailout, this event is open to all members (whether new, long-standing, or former). Everyone is welcome but we particularly wish to get to know our new members. We also encourage non-members to come along, eg newcomers to the area who wish to know about the history of their home or suburb, or anyone interested in learning about the Society before making any commitments.
For those who are unable to attend the usual daytime event because of work or other commitments, we propose to hold an evening event, or Soirée, from 5.00pm to 6.30pm on Thursday 26 June.
It’s an opportunity for like-minded people, young and more mature, to get together to talk about their favourite topic – New Farm and surrounds – and to share memories and stories.
We hope we can tempt you with tea, coffee, and home-made treats, along with great conversation.
