The “Three Ladies of Moreton Bay”, Mirimar, Mirana and Mirabel, are well remembered by the people of Brisbane for their bay and river trips.

The story of the “Three Ladies of Moreton Bay” will bring back very happy memories of times spent aboard these vessels. Come and listen to author and maritime historian David Jones tell joyful tales of trips across the water for people whose life was otherwise shore-bound.

      Hi Patti. It has been a very long time since we last spoke. I am still living in Thorneside as per my last letter to you in February 2001.
      I was just looking through my old photos etc and found the letters we sent to each other back then. I did a search on your name and thought you might have moved overseas by now…but you are still here in Brisbane !!!
      I dont know if you want to contact me…ok if you dont. My beautiful husband John passed away 12 months ago in March 2025 after we had nearly 28 wonderful years together. I am happy to catch up with you if you want to…no pressure
