Maybe you have seen the new Lores Bonney Riverwalk alongside Kingsford Smith Drive and wondered who Lores Bonney was. She lived in Bowen Hills—which is, of course, one of the ‘districts’ referred to in the Society’s full name. You can hear more about this remarkable woman at our first meeting for the year. Its date will please lovers of numbers: 22-02-2020.
